Weekly rentals are available for Saturday check in during July and August. There is more flexibility during the rest of the year for short getaways. Our 3 bedroom knotty pine lakefront cottage is available for weekly rentals. It is located on lower Mousam Lake on 7th street in a no wake zone. This property is great for relaxing, people watching, and for making memories. Feel free to bring your own motorboat, which you would be able to park on our dock during your stay. Rental includes use of 2 kayaks, peddle boat, fire-pit, and grill. We are located on lower Mousam lake and you will need to go under the bridge to gain access to upper Mousam lake, which has about 6 feet of clearance. During most of the summer this is not a problem, but when the water gets especially high (heavy rain periods) it can be tricky to get larger pontoon style boats through the tunnel. There is one queen bedroom on the main floor, which also houses a stackable washer and dryer in this room. The main floor also has a full kitchen, living room, and 3/4 bath (no tub). Upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other has a queen and a twin bed. We will provide sheets for all the bedding and if you prefer to bring your own, please let us know and we will deduct the $25 fee during your stay. Cable and WiFi are included. Pets are not allowed. This is a non smoking property and smoking is only allowed outside. Please remove all cigarette butts from the property as well.

Get away from the hustle and bustle at our little cabin in the woods! Our home is cozy but not claustrophobic with a cathedral ceiling in the main living space and a catwalk between the two upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom (double bed) is on the first floor directly across from the main bathroom which offers support rails by the toilet and in the shower (no tub, though.) Linens and towels are provided. One upstairs bedroom has a half bath adjoining it and a twin size bed with pull-out trundle to sleep two and a bookshelf full of children's books. The other bedroom has two twin beds, swinging saloon style doors, and a 3/4 wall separating it from the hubbub below. The basement is painted and stocked with toys and games as well as a washer and dryer. The cabin has wi-fi, but why not unplug and enjoy some of the many books from our collection found on bookshelves throughout the house? We do not have a TV, but shows can be streamed through your device or you may use our portable DVD player and DVD collection. The three season porch is all windows, surrounded by green with a glimpse of water at the bottom of the hill. Although our cabin is not on the water, the condo association has a dock a short walk from the cabin which you are free to use for swimming, fishing, or from launching our canoe from. Nearly all of the rooms have ceiling fans, so throw open the windows and let the breeze flow through! We have a small air conditioner unit in the living room, but the cabin temp is usually comfortable with the fans. Parking available for two cars at the cabin (three if small); additional parking is a short walk away at the entrance to the condo property. The cabin is about two hours from Boston, slightly over an hour from the White Mountains (North Conway), and 45 minutes from the beach in Wells--you can enjoy everything from here! There is no cable tv but you will have WIFI, therefore all TV’s will have the ability to stream from your netflix, Hulu, etc. accounts. The bathroom has a stand up shower and washer/dryer. Directly outside you have an open area to grill and a stone fire pit. There is additional seating in front of the camp that over looks the large private beach area on the edge of the lake. You’ll need to take the stairs down to the water. But once you reach the bottom, you have your own 115’ of sandy water front. Located in the first basin which is a no wake zone- so it’s always calm! Enjoy a stay in our 1790’s farmhouse with many original features, situated on 120 mostly-wooded acres in southern Maine. Our homestead features a small commercial maple syrup operation including a large sugarhouse, 200 highbush blueberry plants, a large vegetable garden, berry patches, a variety of fruit trees, honeybee hives, miles of old logging roads for walks, skiing/snowshoeing, a meandering brook, patio and outdoor fireplace, free-range chickens and two large farm dogs. The farmhouse retains many original features including wide plank floors, exposed beams, fireplace (nonoperational) with bake oven in your private living space, and much original woodwork. Your private living space (first floor) has a pellet stove, bookshelves stocked with reading material and games, a seating area, etc. 2nd floor has two bedrooms and a brand-new kitchen (as of June 2021) with 4 burner electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee grinder, coffee maker, dishes, posts, pans and utensils. There is also an outdoor propane grill for guests to use and grill tools are provided. **Please note that a small grassy backyard must be navigated in order to access the guest entrance, and you must climb a non-carpeted staircase (14 steps) to reach the bedrooms and bathroom located on the second floor. If you have limited mobility or are unsteady on your feet, this property is likely not a good fit. The bedroom is very large and has a queen bed, large closet, dresser, luggage rack, ceiling fan, exposed beams, exposed chimney, and skylight. The private bathroom has wainscoting, a pedestal sink, toilet and shower. Private entrance with keys. Our living space is completely separate so you have plenty of your own space to relax as you wish. *PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GUEST SPACE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR TODDLERS due to the wooden staircase and bannister construction that is open along the side on the second floor and does not allow for effective placement of baby gates.

Our season starts Memorial Day weekend and ends the end of September, as there is no central heat or fireplace in the camp. It is a true summer place. Little Ossipee Lake has an area of 564 acres maximum depth of 72 feet.  The water is crystal clear and is fantastic for swimming or boating. Camp Pine Needle was built in the 1940s and is 24 feet by 24 feet with a full view of Little Ossipee Lake. It has one bedroom with a full-size bed, a trundle bed and a pullout sleep sofa. It has a newly redone kitchen with refrigerator and small stove and oven with all the cooking utensils and dishes and silverware. It has a microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, a Keurig coffee machine and a 32 inch TV. New this season, cable and internet service are provided through Spectrum. There are some Blu-Ray disks as well as games and books you may wish to enjoy. Outside is a picnic table, gas grill , charcoal grill and chairs plus your own private dock if you wish to bring a small boat. The public boat launch is a few minutes away in sight of the camp. The lake is spring fed and crystal clear and great for swimming as well as boating. Sitting on the eastern shore of the lake , you get the benefits of afternoon sun and wonderful sunsets. Lakeside Market is a five minute walk away and is a gas station and convenience store with takeout food and beer and wine. A few miles away is a Hannaford's supermarket with all your grocery needs.

There is a large, flat, grassy area to play some badminton, disc golf, or other dry land games. A basketball hoop, badminton/volley ball net, and a horseshoe pit are also set up for your convenience. Fall is the perfect time to view Maine's fall foliage with a canoe or boat ride around the lake or visit the agricultural country fairs in Fryeburg in less than 40 minutes. When you rent, everything is in the exact order we keep it for our own use (excluding the linen you must provide for sanitary reasons). From Pots & pans and dishes & knives, to cable tv and Wifi internet service in every room, this lakehouse will truly give you the comfort of your "home away from home". We rent just a few weeks each year while our children are busy in sports and only rent to individual families with required references to ensure we can maintain the property at a very high standards.
